What to specify when ordering a staff gauge?
1. Gauge type and material
Acid-resistant stainless steel (AISI 304 / 1.4301), hollow aluminium profile, or PVC plate; or a roof snow depth gauge.
2. Mounting configuration
Vertical, stepped, or sloped/inclined staff gauge (please specify the embankment slope ratio 1 : n or inclination angle).
3. Scale range and zero-datum elevation
Measuring range (from – to in cm or m) and the zero-datum elevation in your required reference system (e.g. EVRF2007 / Amsterdam, NHN, or local datum).
4. Additional markings
Colour segments for warning and alarm water stages, custom header plate with station name / authority logo, or a universal zero-datum stamping block.
Returns & Warranty Policy
As our gauges are custom-manufactured to order, we accept returns of defective products (manufacturing defects, non-compliance with ordered specifications, or transport damage). In case of a defect, we provide a free replacement or a full refund.
